Located at Michie Stadium, Kimsey Athletic Center is a 117,000 square foot complex that contains four floors, the first of which houses the Army football team's locker room with 200 permanent lockers and space for additional temporary lockers. 

In addition, a "state-of-the-art" swimming pool, a sports medicine center featuring examination rooms, a taping room, an injury rehabilitation room, a cardiovascular fitness room and a hydrotherapy rehabilitation center will also be located on the first floor.

The second floor has a fully equipped 20,000 square foot strength and development center, designed to meet the training needs of athletes from all five athletic programs simultaneously. 

The third floor of the Kimsey Athletic Center house’s the Army sports hall of fame and the Blaik Gallery, a tastefully conceived tribute to the memory of legendary Army football coach Earl "Red" Blaik. 

The entire football operations offices including coaches, scouting, recruitment, and video enjoy “state of the art” offices overlooking Michie Stadium on the third floor.

Possibly the most intriguing aspect of the wonderful new venue are the spacious multi-purpose rooms located on the fourth floor.  A fully equipped commercial kitchen provides service to the space. 

With a grand overview of Michie Stadium and unparalleled sight lines to the scenic Hudson River Valley, this observation area is utilized in a host of roles. It promises to provide the Academy with one of the marquee attractions in all the land.

The building is controlled by a Honeywell XL5000 system that includes XL500’s, XL50’s, XL10 VAV’s and XFC modules. The BACS communicates to a front end that utilizes Honeywell’s SymmetrE graphical interface to view and control the stadium from anywhere on the campus.
